The meteoric rise and fall of the Motor City, the worldwide symbol of industrial might and innovation for over half the 20th century, has been well-documented. Despite the naysayers and those who seemed to take delight in its decline, today’s Detroit embodies the spirit of the city motto penned by Father Gabriel Richard over two centuries ago after it was destroyed by fire. Speramus meliora, resurget cineribus, meaning “We hope for better things. It will rise from the ashes.”

Cruise the streets of Detroit with us on this intimate bus tour of the city that put the world on wheels and discover its amazing history of innovation, philanthropy, social justice and culture. Feel the excitement firsthand as you witness the revitalization underway of a major post-industrial American city many had written off.

Our “See The D on Wheels” bus tour ventures beyond the central business district and features more Motor City must-sees as well as lesser-known sites of interest. A few places you’ll see are Art Deco masterpieces, the stadium district, cultural center, historic neighborhoods, Eastern Market, the restored Michigan Central Station, and Motown Museum.

Join us for this comprehensive tour of one of the most exciting cities in the US. Be prepared to sing a little, dance a little and be amazed. As always, we promise our passionate guides will take you on a tour to remember and show you what Detroit is all about!
