Notorious 313: Deadly District

Beacoup bucks have been spent transforming the recently branded "District" into an entertainment hotspot. Will money and clever marketing be enough to quell the restless spirits roaming these streets long before stadiums and trendy restaurants/clubs moved in? Or ... will the ghosts of those who met their tragic demise here continue to haunt and give new meaning to the concept of active nightlife?

Murder dominates this tour as guides disclose actual terrifying accounts of Cass Corridor serial killers, a luxury hotel known for its guests literally checking out, the mysterious offing of a benevolent drug lord who owned lots of property in this now desirable area, a theater's deadly drama, scrub woman's revenge, and the double life of the dismembered doctor. A few ghosts, murders for hire, tragic accidents, Purple Gang exploits, and a man who outsmarted the mob -- and lived to tell about it, make for a morbid stroll down the seedy side of the city with Notorious 313: Deadly District walking tour.
